This means I may be on here less often as I concentrate on using the blog on my website.

Exciting stuff!

Hello!

I've been working on my style and trying to get a balance between traditional and digital art. I'm happy (for the moment) about the direction my art is heading.
I have a few things on which I'm very excited about! Myself and some other children's illustrators have come together to form a 'collective', in which we will be working together and producing some lovely art!
Something else which I am extremely excited about will be revealed in due course. But for now, please take a look around my website and feel free to follow my work on Facebook and Twitter (links on the right)

Website update!

Pleased to announce that my website has had a bit of a overhaul. Gotten rid of all the clutter and kept my strongest pieces. I've also sorted out the hosting (finally!) and it has a new URL.

Much needed clear out!

I moved into my own place in February and the room that was suppose to be my office has been used as a storage room. I had a bit of a clear out today and I've finally unpacked some boxes containing art materials. No more hunting through boxes for things!

Before and After. It's not perfect, I still need to tidy up some things and I plan on hanging prints on the wall and will have a cork board with bits and pieces on. I have two prints by Erin Hunting who is an amazing artist, that I can't wait to see on the wall!  

The other side of the room needs a lot more work....

I just can't wait to have a space where I can work properly.

Bits and bobs

A few bits and pieces I've been working on....

This is part of an idea I've had about a boy who draws a monster and he comes to life! I plan on doing a few pages as part of some illustrations I intend to send to agencies.

As well as my artwork I'm also training to be a Teaching Assistant. This is for a Thank you card for the teacher at the school, where I do my placement.

This week's Illustration Friday is 'Space'. Tried something different from my usual technique, used coloured pencils and then coloured it in Photoshop. I enjoyed it and it works well.
