Disguise (WIP)

This weeks Illustration Friday theme is Disguise. This is my original drawing but isn't the final piece. I plan on using my tablet to colour it up. Going to try and experiment with some brushes in Photoshop and give it a messy look. A bit like my last entry but messier!

Influence

This weeks Illustration Friday theme is 'Influence'. This is kind of a hard word to illustrate and can be very personal. At first I started thinking about things that have inspired me to become an Illustrator etc. Then I started thinking about what influences my work and of course that is my sense of humour. This is something that comes across in every thing I do! So obviously, it had to be monkeys :)

I went for quite a messy style and had loads of fun not trying to make it 'perfect'. Hooray for my tablet!

I've been unable to scan anything due to my stone age scanner not working with my new laptop. Today I finally went out and bought a fancy new printer/scanner, yay!

Monster Plush

I spent most of today making this little guy. I'm no good at sewing and this is only my second attempt at a plush toy. He was a lot of fun to make and I'm getting better.

Here he is next to my first attempt, Munkey. I apologise for the bad photos, these were taken using my laptop webcam as it doesn't have a memory card reader.
